As part of their STEAM curriculum, the students of 1º ESO (MYP 2) embarked on an exciting journey to understand the solar system through a creative hands-on project.

By building their own solar system models, they not only explored the mysteries of space but also gained a deeper understanding of the science behind it.
Using a variety of materials, the students crafted representations of the sun and the planets, meticulously arranging them in their correct order. They paid special attention to accurately depicting the relative sizes and distances between celestial bodies, fostering an appreciation for the immense scale and structure of our solar system.
This interdisciplinary project beautifully blended science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, encouraging students to think critically and creatively. It provided a unique opportunity to visualize and connect with the vastness of space in a tangible and memorable way.
