INFANT: A PLACE TO DREAM FROM 4 MONTHS OLD

At Colegio Arenas, every corner has been designed so that your child can grow up in safety, well-being and harmony. From the age of 4 months, our school becomes a second home, where comfort, aesthetics, innovative projects and attention to every detail invite children to explore, play and discover with confidence.

We accompany their development with experiences that awaken creativity, curiosity and sensitivity, while fostering empathy, listening and cooperation. Here, every gesture counts, every game teaches and every moment nourishes their heart and mind.

From the outset, we incorporate the IB international programmes, cultivating an open, curious and global mindset, and the English language is integrated naturally, creating a bilingual environment that broadens their abilities from early childhood.

Because choosing us means giving them a start full of confidence, joy and opportunities.

Inspiring projects: educating today to transform tomorrow

At Arenas International School, we believe in education with purpose.

As an Ultramar Blue School, the highest distinction awarded by the European Blue Schools Network, our students learn to protect the oceans through real conservation, research and environmental awareness projects.

They not only acquire knowledge, but also develop awareness, leadership and a commitment to caring for the planet. We educate students who inspire change.

AN INTERNATIONAL FAMILY, A SECOND HOME

Sulis Manor is the Arenas School campus in the historic university city of Bath, in the south-west of England, where academic tradition meets an inspiring international learning environment.

It offers a unique international educational experience that combines English language immersion, multicultural coexistence and academic excellence.

Backed by more than 85 years of educational experience, the centre employs highly qualified native and bilingual teachers who apply innovative methodologies focused on continuous improvement and the cross-curricular use of English in all areas of learning.

BI's academic excellence is the path to success.

Since Arenas Atlántico School was authorised in 2007 to become a BI World School, we have expanded the implementation of international programmes, offering a comprehensive, consistent and demanding education at all stages:

  • Primary Years Programme (PYP): second cycle of Infant and Primary Education.
  • Middle Years Programme (MYP): Secondary stage.
  • Diploma Programme (DP): International Baccalaureate.

Academic excellence and comprehensive development
The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers a path to educational excellence based on the highest international standards.

Our approach combines pedagogical innovation, active learning and a commitment to the comprehensive development of our students.

Colegio Arenas is the only school in the Canary Islands authorised to offer the full range of IB programmes from ages 3 to 18— ensuring consistent progression and deep learning based on research, conceptual understanding and action.

🎼 MUSIC AT THE ARENAS ALBÉNIZ

Colegio Arenas is the only school in the Canary Islands with its own private conservatory, allowing us to offer integrated, personalised, top-quality music education. We support children and young people with challenges tailored to their development, fostering a love of music and communication with the audience from an early age.

At Arenas Albéniz, we understand music as an experience that is lived from childhood. Our goal is for each student to participate actively, develop their talent and grow intellectually, emotionally and creatively through excellent musical training.

The commitment and high qualifications of our teaching staff consolidate Arenas Albéniz as a benchmark in the educational landscape of the Canary Islands.

EDUCATION THAT INSPIRES DREAMS

Matías Lobo Vera has a clear dream: to study at the University of Oxford. Today, that dream is closer than ever. A Year 10 student on the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme at Colegio Arenas Atlántico, he has won second prize worldwide in his category in the Oxford Royale Essay Competition, one of the most prestigious international competitions for academic writing in English and critical thinking for young people aged 13 to 18.

An education that nurtures talent

This achievement reflects Matías’s talent, dedication and perseverance, but also the school’s commitment to educational excellence, which supports every student in achieving their dreams. Thanks to this international education, students develop the academic and personal skills needed to excel anywhere in the world.

School with international exchanges

In a truly international education, learning is not confined to the classroom. International exchange programmes enable students to experience new cultures, improve their language skills and develop personal qualities that will shape their future.

Our school, which is multilingual and the first English-Spanish bilingual school in the Canary Islands, is committed to a global education. As an international school offering all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes, from Reception through to Sixth Form, we promote educational experiences that help our pupils understand the world from an open and multicultural perspective.

Among these initiatives, exchange programmes with schools in other countries stand out, such as the one we run with a school in Massachusetts (United States). During these stays, students live with local families, participate in the school life of the host institution and integrate into a fully international environment.

This type of experience not only strengthens their English language skills but also fosters independence, adaptability and personal growth in our students.

International exchanges are central to our approach to education: preparing students to navigate a globalised world with confidence, whilst encouraging curiosity, an open-minded attitude and respect for other cultures.
